Apple's $399 iPhone for the other 80%

Hey Snackers,

Fuzzbucket. Million Dollar Duck. A creepy-ish one about a high-level lawyer transformed into a sheepdog. Disney tweeted out every show and movie hitting Disney+ on November 12th and we're impressed/confused by some of the throwbacks.

Stocks dipped Monday on word Trump's mini-deal with China isn't even a sure thing. And 3rd quarter earnings season kicks off today with big banks reporting how they did the last 3 months.

Facebook's 1st big ZuckBucks meeting

Posted by Goyo Large on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, In : 848FINACE

Hey Snackers,

We now know the top 10 most popular emoji ever. The first 5 capture Wall Street right now.

After 12 meetings, the US and China agreed to phase 1 of a larger trade deal (pretty much the appetizer — entrees and desserts are still to be fought out). Stocks jumped Friday as the US will cancel tariff increases planned for this week, while China will buy more US agricultural goodies.

The pizza legend is kinda ignoring delivery

Hey Snackers,

Democracy is up for sale. The whole website: www.Democracy.com. Minimum bid is $300K and the auction to own Democracy.com ends on 10/25.

The Dow dropped a hefty 150 points Tuesday because investors aren't feeling optimistic about this week's critical US/China trade negotiations.

"Hope this thing is non-virgin, re-used, compostable material"

Hey Snackers,

RIP iTunes (2001-2019). May the young Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Podcasts platforms carry on your legacy.

Markets barely budged to start the week as US/China trade talks kick off.

"What do ya think of the econ data, Stu?"

Hey Snackers,

WeWork's ex-CEO Adam Neumann is reportedly selling off some of his homes to pay off a giant loan now that the unicorn canceled its IPO. Yes, that includes the $21M Bay Area pad with a guitar-shaped room.

Markets were focused on the big September jobs report — Here's America's labor report card in 1 chart (and more below).

That tastes-like-seltzer-made-by-a-beer-company reaction

Hey Snackers,

Tea party with a sheep in London? Now a thing (but seriously). Airbnb is doinganimal-obsessed experiences now.

After dropping nearly 800 points this week, the Dow rebounded a tad before Friday's big unveil: The September jobs report.

Happy Mean Girls Day. Markets aren't celebrating.

Hey Snackers,

Fetch isn't happening. Mean Girls Day is.

Markets pulled a Regina George as the Dow aggressively dipped 800 points in last two days. Blame it on more mounting evidence of a global economic slowdown.

Microsoft failed smartphones. So it invented a new Smartphone-ish foldable device.

It's product unveil season... We expected Microsoft to show us new Surface tablets for your aunt's holiday wish list. We didn't expect a smart device ...

GoPro unveils 2 new cameras to end its 3-year profit draught

If you land a fakie-to-fakie 720 and no one sees it... did it even happen? That's why GoPro exists. Just in time for the holidays, the only gift GoPro shareholders want is a charming return to profitability.

  • Sales are down 35% from 4 years ago.
  • The stock's down 83% over that same period.
